Assistant Principals are assigned by a student’s last name. For example, if their last name is “Palomino” their AP would be Mr. Santiago.

Students must come to school daily, it is the law! Students may only be absent if they are sick, have a personal reason, or are observing a religious holiday.
  • If a student is absent because they are sick, the school must be notified by phone or parent note.
  • If a student is absent for an extended amount of days, the school must receive a doctor’s note.
  • If a student is absent because of a personal reason, the school must be notified by phone or parent note.
  • If a student is absent because of a religious holiday, the school must be notified by phone or parent note.
If a student is tardy to school the following actions will be followed:
  • If a student is less than 30 minutes late to their first period class, they must report directly to their first period. The teacher will deal with the detention and/or consequence.
  • If a student is more than 30 minutes late to their first period class, they must report to the attendance office and get a pass to class. The attendance office will also issue the student a one hour detention for being late to school.
  • If a student is tardy to any other class during the day, the teacher will assign a detention and/or consequence.
